It combines a thick silicon PIN diode, low-noise front-end electronics, and integrated thermoelectric cooling in a compact, vacuum-sealed package—making it ideal for modern analytical X-ray systems that demand performance, stability, and ease of integration.
Advanced Si-PIN Detector Technology
At the core of the XPIN-XT is a high-quality Si-PIN diode optimized for efficient X-ray absorption and excellent peak resolution. This design enables accurate detection of characteristic X-ray lines across a wide energy range, supporting precise elemental identification and quantification in EDXRF applications.
Integrated Cooling & Low Noise
The XPIN-XT incorporates internal thermoelectric cooling and an ultra-low-noise JFET preamplifier, minimizing electronic noise and ensuring stable detector performance over long measurement periods. By eliminating the need for liquid nitrogen or external cooling systems, the XPIN-XT significantly reduces system complexity, size, and maintenance.
Durable Window & Vacuum-Sealed Package
A key advantage of Moxtek detectors is their proprietary DuraBeryllium® window, which combines excellent low-energy X-ray transmission with superior corrosion resistance and mechanical durability. The vacuum-sealed construction further enhances thermal stability and detector lifetime, even in demanding industrial or field environments.
